DayRoot provides Eastern astrology-inspired reflection tools, including BaZi / Four Pillars readings, Daily DayRoot notes, timing support, Love Pattern reports, Ideal Match profiles, and Relationship Maps where available.

The service is designed for self-understanding and reflection. It is not a promise of future events or a substitute for your own judgment.

DayRoot content is for reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, legal, financial, psychological, tax, immigration, employment, or other professional advice.

Do not use DayRoot as the only basis for high-stakes decisions. If a situation may affect health, safety, money, legal rights, or mental wellbeing, consult a qualified professional.

DayRoot cannot assess crisis, abuse, coercion, consent, stalking, self-harm risk, or whether you should stay in or leave a relationship. If you are in danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services or qualified support in your area.

Some features may require an account, email address, payment method, one-time report purchase, or active subscription. DayRoot does not offer a free trial in the current public pricing.

DayRoot Plus subscriptions renew automatically on the billing interval shown at checkout, such as monthly or yearly, unless canceled before the renewal date. Canceling stops future renewal charges but does not automatically refund past charges.

One-time reports are separate purchases for a specific report or relationship pair. Relationship Maps are not unlimited free reports under Plus; Plus may provide member pricing where available.

Prices, taxes, renewal terms, refund rules, and billing details are shown at checkout. Payments, tax calculation, receipts, and certain refund workflows may be handled by Lemon Squeezy or another payment provider or merchant of record. DayRoot does not store full credit card numbers.

You can manage subscription cancellation from the available billing or customer portal when it is enabled, or contact support@getdayroot.com if you cannot access the portal.

For personal information processed through the DayRoot website and product, DayRoot acts as the controller or business responsible for deciding how that information is used, unless a third-party provider states otherwise for its own services.

For privacy requests, data questions, or billing support, contact support@getdayroot.com. We may need to verify your identity or account ownership before completing a request.

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another region with specific privacy rights, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We may collect birth date, birth time, birth place, gender or pronoun context, relationship context, questions you submit, saved chart data, email address, account information, usage data, device data, log data, and support messages.

We may receive payment-related metadata from payment providers, such as payment status, product purchased, subscription status, customer email, processor customer ID, and receipt or portal links. We do not store full credit card numbers.

Do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for a reading or support request, including health records, abuse details, sexual information, religious information, biometric data, government ID numbers, children's data, or emergency information. If you submit sensitive information anyway, we process it only as needed to provide the service, support you, secure the product, or comply with law.

We use information to generate and save readings, personalize emails, provide customer support, operate and secure the service, improve product quality, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We use account and purchase information to provide access, recover reports, manage subscriptions, prevent duplicate or unauthorized purchases, process claims, and provide customer support.

If you opt in to Daily DayRoot emails or product updates, we use your email address and saved reading context to send those messages.

Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we rely on different legal bases depending on the purpose: contract to provide purchased or account features, consent for optional email or non-essential tracking where required, legitimate interests to secure and improve the service, and legal obligation where we must keep records or respond to lawful requests.

Our legitimate interests include operating DayRoot, preventing fraud or misuse, maintaining product security, understanding product performance, supporting users, and improving the quality of readings and user experience.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.

We may share information with service providers that help us host the product, provide databases and authentication, process payments, send email, analyze usage, prevent fraud or abuse, provide customer support, monitor reliability, or operate infrastructure.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. DayRoot does not sell personal information.

Information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States or other regions where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Transactional or service emails include account, password, security, purchase, billing, subscription, support, and report-access messages. You may receive these even if you opt out of marketing.

Daily DayRoot emails are optional personalized reflection emails. Product updates or marketing emails are optional commercial or promotional messages where required by law.

Marketing or Daily DayRoot emails include an unsubscribe link where required. We process unsubscribe requests as soon as practical and according to applicable law, while still allowing necessary account, billing, security, and service messages.

Commercial email campaigns will identify DayRoot as the sender and include required contact information before broad marketing campaigns are enabled.

DayRoot may use essential cookies or similar technologies for login, authentication, security, checkout return paths, preferences, and core site operation.

If we enable non-essential analytics, advertising pixels, affiliate tracking, or email open/click tracking, we will disclose those uses and request consent where required before using them.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, checkout, report recovery, or other core features from working.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

California and other US residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights, where applicable.

DayRoot does not currently sell personal information for money. If we later use advertising or retargeting technology that may be considered a sale or share under applicable law, we will update this notice and provide required choices.

To make a request, contact support@getdayroot.com. We may verify your identity, ask for information needed to process the request, and deny or limit requests where allowed by law.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, including account operation, report recovery, subscription and purchase records, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, support, and product improvement.

Retention periods may depend on the data type, account status, legal obligations, payment records, fraud prevention needs, backup systems, and whether the information is needed to provide or recover a report.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no internet service can promise perfect security.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use DayRoot paid services or submit relationship context. DayRoot is not directed to children.

Do not submit information about children or minors. If you believe a minor's personal information has been submitted, contact support@getdayroot.com.

Do not misuse the service, scrape it, attack it, reverse engineer it, impersonate others, submit illegal or harmful content, or use it in a way that violates law or harms other people.

DayRoot owns the website, software, brand assets, design, and original service content. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the service without permission.

You own the personal information and prompts you submit. You give DayRoot permission to process that information and generate outputs so we can provide, maintain, and improve the service consistent with this notice.

We may update these Terms and Privacy Notice as the product changes. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version and may notify account holders by email.

Continuing to use DayRoot after an update means you accept the updated terms.
